850 3RD AVENUE

BROOKLYN, NY

2006 – UNBUILT WORK

The concept for this large-scale industrial facility in Brooklyn included space for corporate offices and for an extensive warehousing and distribution center for manufactured goods. The facility accommodates large-scale pick-up and drop-off, with multiple loading docks feeding into an automated conveyor that routes to a sophisticated sorting and storage system. The outdoor plaza with planting areas and terra cotta pavers provides a pleasing contrast to the bulk and industrial feel of the building.
